SIBCO opens its wholesale and retail outlet in Addu City

SIBCO opened its wholesale and retail outlet in Addu City today. This is the second shop opened by the company outside the capital city of Male’. In a ceremony held in Maradhoo, the shop was opened by Mr. Ibrahim Faisal, Counsellor of Maradhoo and Mr. Ahmed Muuthasim, Director of SIBCO.
SIBCO Addu is located on the Link Road in Maradhoo between Keeranmaa Goalhi and Athiregey Magu approximately 100 metres before Palm Village Restaurant. SIBCO Addu Shop will be open for business from Saturday to Thursday from 0900 to 1800 hrs. The opening of the outlet was attended by local businessmen and customers. As part of the company’s outreach nationwide, SIBCO’s first outlet outside Male’ was opened in Fuvahmulah City on 21st August 2019.
Speaking to the media shortly afterwards, Mr. Ahmed Haanee Naeem, Manager - Marketing and Communications of SIBCO said that the shop in Addu will be selling goods at the same wholesale rates as in Male’ and customers can purchase on retail basis as well. “One of the main reasons for us to open a branch in Addu is to provide the opportunity for businesses, resorts, guests houses, café’, restaurants and the people of Addu to purchase all brands and goods imported by SIBCO under one roof with relative ease” said Haanee.
SIBCO also introduced “Wonda Coffee” with the opening of its shop in Addu today. Wonda is a milk coffee drink made with premium-quality coffee beans that serves up a smooth, creamy, just-brewed taste. Wonda hails from Japan and is widely distributed in South-East Asia which is a frequented travel region for Maldivians. Haanee said that SIBCO will initially carry 5 flavours of Wonda Coffee, namely; Wonda Premium Coffee Original, Wonda Premium Coffee Mocha, Wonda Premium Coffee Latte, Wonda Kopi Tarik and Wonda Extra Presso.
SIBCO is the authorized distributor for renowned brands and products such as Al Mudhish Instant Whole Milk Powder, Al Mudhish Tomato Paste, Falak Basmati Rice, baby diapers from MamyPoko Pants, Duracell batteries and Tetley Tea.
